This is not hourly staffing. Every engagement starts with a paid code assessment and a plan you sign off.
We map one application: its versions, dependencies, tests and risks. You get a migration plan and a fixed quote.
The agents upgrade the code and dependencies and run your tests, inside your environment. You approve the plan before work starts and the release before it ships.
After the move, the second brain and observability keep the system maintained and AI spend visible, for a monthly fee.
We run a small number of migrations at a time, so each one gets full attention.
What we migrate
PHP 7 stopped getting security fixes in November 2022. We upgrade the code and dependencies and check the result with tests.
Out-of-support Node versions and packages with known vulnerabilities. We upgrade the runtime and packages and fix what breaks.

Sur Consulting started in 2015 when Mohammed and Mahmood Awad began building for small businesses. Over the years that grew into a full software and IT practice.
Today we focus on one thing: moving companies off old systems with AI agents that do the engineering work, while your team keeps control of the plan and the release. Mohammed is an engineer himself and walks you through a real PHP 7 to 8 migration demo on the first call.
The migration. Agents read the old system, plan the move, write the new code and test it, in your environment by default.
Second brain. A knowledge base of your systems, decisions and past fixes that the agents search on every job and add to. Your code and knowledge base are not used for third-party model training.
Observability. A live view of what the agents did, what passed or failed tests, and what the AI is costing, with alerts.
Your choice of AI models. Sur is a member of the Claude Partner Network (Anthropic). You choose the AI models: Claude, OpenAI models, other providers or your own.
